Among all of Krakow’s museums I can guide, Wawel Royal Castle is that one from which I am proud the most. It’s like a pearl in a crown of Kraków
The former royal castle now houses a museum in which everyone can feel hundreds of years of history. We can see the tapestries ordered by the king Zugmunt August in 16th century. We can see the Szczerbiec sword, a coronation sword of Polish kings, the only preserved insignia. We can admire the precisely prepared porcelain room or collector’s room.
I can take you to all of the exhibitions on Wawel Royal Castle museum. The most recommended by me are the Private Royal Apartments (1st floor), State Rooms (2nd floor) and the Royal Treasury. But all of the exhibitions are worth to be visited, like the Armoury opened after renovation at the end of 2025.

Dawny zamek królewski stanowi dziś muzeum, w którym możemy poczuć setki lat historii. Zobaczyć na własne oczy arrasy zamówione przez króla Zygmunta Augusta. Popatrzeć na Szczerbiec, miecz koronacyjny polskich królów, jedyne zachowane insygnium. Zachwycić się pięknie przygotowanymi gabinetami porcelanowymi czy kolekcjonerskimi.
Zabiorę Was na wszystkie wystawy Zamku Królewskiego na Wawelu. Szczególnie polecam Prywatne Apartamenty Królewskie, Reprezentacyjne Komnaty Królewskie i Skarbiec Koronny. Ciekawe są też wszystkie pozostałe wystawy, jak np. Zbrojownia otwarta ponownie pod koniec 2025 roku.
